The AGR Store Assortment module is used to range products to stores or store clusters.
AGR Store Assortment is classified as a standalone module which means that it is independent of other functionality within AGR and has its own inputs and outputs although it can work well with other modules.
If used in parallel with the Location Clustering module the clusters created in Location Clustering can be used in the Store Assortment module. Clusters can also be read from other systems.
The Range Grid is the workspace where products are ranged to either stores or store clusters. This can be done on any level of the product hierarchy, for example down to product group 2 as seen below in the drill down. We have a list of all products that belong to this product group, both product no (item no) and product name (item name). We then have columns for each store or store cluster.
Checkboxes are marked/unmarked depending on which products should be ranged to which stores. The system than calculates the number of ranged locations.

Checkboxes are marked/unmarked depending on which products should be ranged to which store clusters. The system than calculates the number of ranged locations by summing up number of stores behind every store cluster.

In this screenshot some checkboxes hold a straight line, for example row 2 under cluster CS B. This means that this product is partially ranged to this cluster. Please see next chapter, Location Ranging, for further explanation.
In this view, which is useful if working with store clusters, we are looking at one store in the drill down. Here exceptions to store clusters can be made. This store which we have selected in the drill down, Akranes, might need to be ranged a bit differently for certain products than other stores within the same cluster. Here products can be ranged to or de-ranged from a store which overwrites the ranging/de-ranging made in the Range Grid.

The Store Assortment module is a tool to range or de-range products to/from stores or store clusters. The outputs from this module can be used in the AGR Allocation module where products are allocated between ranged stores.
